Ranked as 159th, is the national leader, followed by the University of Barcelona in the QS World University Ranking 2019.
More than 1,000 institutions have been evaluated, 25 of them Spanish. The results show the excellent results of the UAM in the indicators of Academic Reputation and Reputation in Employability, where it reaches the 102nd position in the world and where it has risen 31 and 15 posts respectively compared to the previous year.
To assess academic reputation, the perception of academics from the most important participating institutions is evaluated. In this edition, more than 83,000 responses were received. About the reputation among employers, another of the areas in which the UAM is a leader, we analyzed about 43,000 responses from reference institutions in which the best professionals are found.
